Accomodation at “Au Paradis des Cigales”

“Les Cigales “ has been created from an original stone ‘cave viticole’, built in 1897 and used for the production of wine. In fact, the building next door still fulfils that traditional function, where it is possible to arrange a tasting. Situated in a small vine filled valley you will only be disturbed by the sounds of nature in this beautiful Mediterranean countryside. The house is approached by a shaded driveway and secluded garden. High quality garden furniture is available for your use, as is the dedicated swimming pool, there is a barbecue for outdoor dining. Inside, the house is furnished to an excellent standard: the kitchen is fully equipped to include dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer; the living room has a telephone, satellite television (British), DVD/video player and CD player.

Les Cigales

“Les Cigales” occupies the whole ground floor of the original cave. It is approached from the terrace shaded by ancient olive trees. The large living room is nicely furnished in a Provencal style, with some interesting antiques, and has several French windows opening onto the terrace, making it very airy and easy for summer living. The kitchen is well equipped and again has a door opening out onto the second/dining terrace. There is a fireplace and electric heating for the colder seasons. In all there are three bedrooms; a double and twin, both are ensuite, while the other double has the use of a separate family bathroom. There is a separate lavatory, in addition to those in the ensuites. The house very comfortably accommodates six people. Outside, the garden has wonderful views across the vines and is very peaceful. There is plenty of space for you to relax and for the children to play.There is a swimming pool dedicated for the use of your party.

General information

Accommodation is available on a weekly basis from Saturday (arrival 4.00 pm) to Saturday (departure 10.00 am). Electricity, linen and towels are included, though we do not provide beach towels. A security deposit is required, details of which are on the booking form. Any charges for damage or heavy cleaning will be deducted from the deposit, though we reserve the right to request more in certain circumstances. If you require extra cleaning midweek please mention this in the comments section of the reservation form.
